TMB Book Reviews

If you haven’t figured it out yet…I love to read, and I love to do this as much as I love to write…sometimes more when my head hurts and I can’t get the words to form on my computer like I want them to! One thing I have learned as a new author is that reviews are your best friend. It doesn’t matter if they are good, bad or indifferent, they are important. So, I decided that I would start reviewing the books that I read, on my blog, on Amazon and Goodreads. I will review books that I seek out and read on my own, and I also take submissions to review new and aspiring indie authors.

So, if you are looking for a new book to read, or are looking to find some interesting books and help out some Indie Authors…please read my reviews to find something that sounds like it is up your alley! If you are an author who would like me to review your book, please submit the Book Review Submission Form located on my contact page.

So, by now I am sure you have a few questions…let me answer a couple that I am sure you have.
Q: What format would you like my book in?
A: I will take Mobi file or PDF.
Q: How long will it take for my review to be posted?
A: That depends on how many requests I have at the time, and where I am at with my own writing. Please allow me up to two weeks to respond to your request and give you an approximate timeline (and when I say approximate, please understand if it takes longer as we are all busy and you never know when shit is going to hit the fan!)
Q: What genres do you review?
A: Mostly I am interested in Supernatural/Paranormal, Horror, Medical Thriller, Thriller, Crime, Mystery, Suspense, Young Adult and Fantasy. If you have a book in a category other than is listed in the previous line, you can submit it and I will let you know if I will review it or not (please be advised I am not a huge fan of Romance, Erotica, Westerns or Faith Based, Self Help or Technical Manuals).
Q: What if you don’t like my book?
A: If I choose to read it, chances are that I am going to like something about it. I try to focus on the positive while still giving some constructive criticism if I think it is warranted. I will, however, not post a negative or mean review. If I feel that I can not rate it appropriately or if I feel that there is something terribly wrong with the book that needs attention, I will let you know privately.
Q: Can I use your review on any of my social media or advertising?
A: Absolutely! Just please give me credit anywhere you use it!

The story’s climax will occur during the fire of June 20, 1877: a fire – second – only in size and damages to the famous Boston fire.

  2. Hi, I am traditionally published by Honno, the Welsh Women’s Press. Which means I am not allowed to send out free kindle reads. Not sure how to get around this but grateful for suggestions as I have read your reviews and would be thrilled if you were able to review my fist book of a trilogy. I’m currently writing the third. All the best
