My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I thoroughly enjoyed this book as I am a huge zombie fan. Aside from zombies though, this book brings to light the atrocities that still continue amongst the human race even during a zombie apocalypse. So it was refreshing that there was more depth to the storyline. I really enjoyed the characters and cannot wait to see them be developed further in future books. I did at first feel some slight confusion with the different characters making observations from their own point if view and only because the majority of novels I have read are not written in this manner. Most of what I read are in the first person point of view. This story does end abruptly and this is my favorite kind to write also! So for those of you who don’t like an abrupt ending…may want to wait until the second book is out! I thought this was a great read…it flowed well and was short enough that it went by fast. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book and where the author will take the characters!
