Review of “The Sapphire Legend: Part 1” by E. L. Tenenbaum

The Sapphire Legend, Part IThe Sapphire Legend, Part I by E.L. Tenenbaum

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book grabbed me from the very beginning and kept me hooked all the way through. I became attached to Sapere and enjoyed watching her grow as a woman and as a person. I love the gifts that are passed down from generation to generation and only passed to the men in the family. It makes Sapere even more unique.

After the massacre on Sapere’s village, she leads some weary survivors to the water and helps to keep them alive. When some of the men show up, they try to continue living their old ways, but in the wild.

This is an action packed book that leaves you wondering what adventure is coming next. There is love, pain, happiness and sadness. There is one romance that I am hoping will blossom with Sapere, I won’t say who, but will let you read and figure it out for yourself.

There is plenty of conflict (internal and external) in this book because of Sapere’s uniqueness. This story is well written, highly engaging and creatively delivered. The characters are well designed and developed throughout the story.

I cannot wait to read the second book in the series and have already purchased it!
