Once i started this book, I couldn’t put it down. We start off following Ryan who has opened his own insurance fraud investigation business in Chicago after the advice of his very successful long time friend. Immediately the authors draws you into a storyline that is woven into a very suspenseful mystery with Ryan receiving a strange message and package from his long time buddy out in California.
The story was well-written and the storyline was well planned. I enjoyed the many twists and turns the authors took us down. The characters were very engaging and the relationships were creative, believable and well rounded. I enjoyed learning about each of them and their own personal stories.
I really enjoyed the use and mystery of the new technology. It brought a scarily real aspect to the story, knowing that this could very well be a real possibility, if not now, in the near future.
The action and suspense was amazing and definitely kept me on the edge of my seat and turning that page. I had to know what was going to happen next and how they were going to overcome the situation.
Definitely interested in seeing what goes on in the rest of the books!
