Rise Of The Shadow Hound by David King

This is an excellent short read. It was perfect as I started reading it before bed one evening and finished it in the same sitting. Although it was a short story it was quite captivating and I was engrossed from the first page.
I found it to have just enough description of the surroundings and character development. A tale of two young boys who discover a gateway to another world.
The horror of this tale was quite intriguing and this author hit all the key points that should be addressed during any story. I enjoyed this quick tale of the trouble these two boys get into and look forward to reading more from this author. King sure as a gift for wrapping up the horror in a sweet small package for his readers.
