You will never believe it but yes, I was invited to the White House to give a speech on the very clear and present danger of the paranormal and its effects on National Security. During my speech I was terribly nervous!
The best part was afterward, they let me sit at THE DESK! Oh, how I wish I could be sitting there writing!
So, as I am sitting there, enjoying the desk, my dear friend and colleague, Michelle, reminds me that we are just in a souvenir shop and that I am merely daydreaming.
No, I was not invited to the White House and no I didn’t give a speech. I was however in DC for the very first time and can’t wait to go back and take my family. It was a very quick business trip, but we were able to take in a lot of the sights.
I had fun, and it definitely is an amazing place to visit!
