On the Lips of Children by Mark Matthews
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I must say this book was just up my alley and I was thoroughly impressed with it. From the moment that I picked it up to the moment I was done, I was captivated and couldn’t wait to see what happened next. The hook was definitely in the first chapter because it was so horrific I just had to find out what this story was all about.
The characters are well defined, and I thought throwing in the perspective of the little girl was not only unique but lent a great deal of validity to the overall character of the book.
The book is well written with just the right amount of detail to be able to formulate the characters and the settings. The storyline is entirely different than anything that I have read and was satisfying to my horror side.
I don’t want to give away any details but the ending was perfectly written. I loved this book and can’t wait to see what else this author has to offer!
